Dossier

Pierre Guité (born April 17, 1952) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who spent his career in the World Hockey Association, appearing in 377 games. He played for the Quebec Nordiques, Michigan Stags, Baltimore Blades, Cincinnati Stingers, and Edmonton Oilers. Guité was part of a notable trade that sent him, Michel Rouleau, and Alain Caron from Quebec to the financially troubled Michigan Stags in exchange for Marc Tardif, who went on to become the WHA's all-time leading goal scorer. The Stags folded shortly after, and the league relocated the franchise to Baltimore. His son Ben Guité later played in the NHL.
