Dossier

Quinn Buckner (born August 20, 1954) played guard in the NBA for ten years after being selected 7th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1976 draft. At Indiana University, he captained the last undefeated NCAA Division I championship team in 1976 and led the U.S. squad to an Olympic gold medal that same year. He also played for the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers, winning an NBA title with Boston in 1984. Buckner is one of only eight players to win an NCAA championship, NBA championship, and Olympic gold medal — the basketball Triple Crown.
