Ralph Peter Goldston (February 25, 1929 – July 9, 2011) was a running back and defensive back who played professional football in both the NFL and CFL. Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1952 NFL Draft, he played four seasons in Philadelphia before moving north to the Canadian Football League, where he spent nine seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. A four-time all-star, Goldston intercepted 32 passes for 416 return yards and was part of two Grey Cup championship teams in 1957 and 1963. He finished his playing career with the Montreal Alouettes in 1965, then spent 30 years coaching at Harvard and Colorado before scouting for the Seattle Seahawks.
