Ray Kremer

Dossier
Remy Peter "Ray" Kremer (March 23, 1895 – February 8, 1965) was a right-handed pitcher who played his entire Major League career with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1924 to 1933. Born in Oakland, California, to French immigrant parents, Kremer attended Polytechnic High School and signed his first professional contract with the Sacramento Wolves of the Pacific Coast League in 1914. After a brief stint with the New York Giants organization was derailed by joint pain, he returned to the minors and spent seven seasons with the Oakland Oaks before the Pirates signed him in December 1923.
