John "Red" Beattie (October 2, 1907 – December 26, 1990) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward born in Ibstock, Leicestershire, England, who grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. After playing junior hockey in Vancouver, Beattie spent nine seasons in the National Hockey League from 1930 to 1939, appearing in 335 regular-season games across three franchises: the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, and New York Americans.
