Richard Walter Zisk (born February 6, 1949) played outfield and designated hitter in Major League Baseball from 1971 through the early 1980s, appearing for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, and Seattle Mariners. Drafted by Pittsburgh out of Seton Hall University in the third round of the 1967 draft, he batted .324 with 10 home runs and 54 RBI in his 1973 rookie season. He hit for the cycle on June 9, 1974, against the San Francisco Giants. A two-time All-Star, Zisk won the American League Comeback Player of the Year award in 1981 and was the first position player in major league history to sign a 10-year contract.
