Rick Bragnalo

Richard James Bragnalo (born December 1, 1951) is a Canadian-Italian centre from Fort William, Ontario. After playing college hockey at the University of Denver, he signed with the Washington Capitals as a free agent in 1976 and appeared in 145 NHL games across parts of four seasons. The bulk of his career, spanning 1974 to 1992, was played in the Italian Serie A, where he skated for Val Pusteria Wolves and HC Milano Saima, scoring the goal that clinched the 1990–91 league title for Milano. Drawing on his Italian heritage, Bragnalo represented the Italian national team at six World Championships, including the A Pool in 1982 and 1983.
