Eldon John "Rip" Repulski (1928–1993) was a right-handed outfielder who played nine seasons in Major League Baseball. Born in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, he appeared in 928 games for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Boston Red Sox, finishing with a .269 batting average, 106 home runs, and 416 RBI. Repulski broke in as the Cardinals' regular center fielder in 1953 and finished third in National League Rookie of the Year voting behind Jim Gilliam and Harvey Haddix. His most productive seasons came in 1954 and 1955, with 1954 bringing career highs in batting average (.283), runs (99), RBI (79), and doubles (39).
