Robin Arthur Burns (born August 27, 1946) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger and cousin of NHL coach Pat Burns. Born in Montreal, Burns overcame a diagnosis of osteomyelitis in his right leg at age nine that required five months in a cast. He developed through the Montreal Notre Dame de Grace Monarchs before spending three seasons with the Montreal Junior Canadiens. He then played two seasons with the Houston Apollos of the Central Hockey League and a season with the Montreal Voyageurs of the American Hockey League.
