Everett Lamar "Rocky" Bridges (August 7, 1927 – January 28, 2015) was an American middle infielder and third baseman who played 11 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1951 to 1961. A native Texan who attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, Bridges debuted with the Brooklyn Dodgers, where he served as a utility infielder backing up Pee Wee Reese and Jackie Robinson. He later played for the Cincinnati Redlegs, Washington Senators, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, and Los Angeles Angels. With Washington in 1958, he earned a starting role at shortstop and was selected to the All-Star Game by manager Casey Stengel.
