Elmer Roland "Rollie" Miles (February 16, 1927 – August 17, 1995) was a professional football player who spent his eleven-year career with the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. Born in Washington, D.C., Miles attended St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he competed in baseball, football, and track and field. He initially traveled to Canada to play baseball before Annis Stukus persuaded him to join the Eskimos. One of the most versatile players in CFL history, Miles played running back, linebacker, defensive back, and special teams. He is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and was named one of the CFL's Top 50 players of the modern era by TSN in 2006.
