Ronald Ford Howard (born March 3, 1951) played tight end in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, and Buffalo Bills. A product of Pasco High School in Washington, Howard was a high school All-American in basketball who accepted a scholarship to Seattle University, where he started at forward for two seasons and averaged 9.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He never played college football, signing with Dallas as an undrafted free agent in 1974. In 2006, he was inducted into the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Hall of Fame.
