Ronald LeFlore (born June 16, 1948, Detroit, Michigan) was a Major League Baseball center fielder who spent six seasons with the Detroit Tigers before being traded to the Montreal Expos. He finished his career with the Chicago White Sox in 1982, accumulating 455 stolen bases over his time in the majors. LeFlore was selected as an American League All-Star in 1976. His path to professional baseball drew wide attention — he was signed while serving time at Jackson State Penitentiary. A made-for-television film, *One in a Million: The Ron LeFlore Story*, starring LeVar Burton, aired on CBS in 1978.
