Ronald Wesley Taylor (December 13, 1937 – June 16, 2025) was a right-handed pitcher from Toronto, Ontario, who spent all or parts of eleven seasons in Major League Baseball between 1962 and 1972 with the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, New York Mets, and San Diego Padres. He contributed to two World Series championships — the 1964 Cardinals and the 1969 Mets. After retiring, Taylor earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto in 1977 and served as team physician for the Toronto Blue Jays beginning in 1979. He is inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, and the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame, and was appointed to the Order of Ontario in 2005.
