Ron Waller

Ron Waller (February 14, 1933 – December 16, 2018) was an American football running back who played collegiately at the University of Maryland before spending four seasons with the Los Angeles Rams (1955–1958) and one season with the AFL's Los Angeles Chargers (1960). He later moved into coaching, serving as interim head coach of the San Diego Chargers for the final six games of the 1973 season and holding the same role with the Philadelphia Bell of the World Football League in 1974. He was inducted into the Delaware Sports Hall of Fame in 1977.
