Ronald William Yankowski (born October 23, 1946) played defensive end for the St. Louis Cardinals across ten seasons in the NFL. He attended Kansas State and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M before being selected by St. Louis in the eighth round of the 1971 draft, starting ten games as a rookie. The most notable play of his career came in a 1974 game at Washington, where he returned a Billy Kilmer fumble 71 yards for a touchdown in a 17–10 Cardinals victory. Over 128 games in St. Louis, Yankowski recorded 30 sacks and five fumble recoveries.
