Rudy Bukich (September 15, 1930 – February 29, 2016) was a professional football quarterback who played in the NFL from 1953 to 1968. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Croatian immigrant parents, he attended the University of Iowa before transferring to the University of Southern California, where he appeared in the 1953 Rose Bowl. Known as "Rudy the Rifle" for his arm strength, Bukich tied an NFL record with 13 consecutive pass completions during the 1964 season and finished as the league's second-leading passer in 1965.
