William Russell Craft (1919–2009) was a defensive back in the NFL who played college football for Alabama before being selected in the 15th round of the 1943 NFL Draft. He spent the bulk of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles and later played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Craft was part of the Eagles teams that won NFL championships in 1948 and 1949, and he earned a 1947 Division Championship. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1951 and 1952. In 1950, he tied an NFL record with four interceptions in a single game, finishing his career with 22 interceptions. He later served as a defensive coach for the Steelers.
