Sam Brunelli

Sam Brunelli was an offensive lineman who played professional football from 1966 to 1971. Born in Fort Morgan, Colorado, he played college football at Colorado State College before signing with the Denver Broncos of the American Football League in 1966. He became a fixture on the offensive line, starting all 14 games in both 1968 and 1969. When the Broncos joined the NFL in 1970, Brunelli continued as a starter, appearing in 13 games and recovering two fumbles. He spent six seasons total with Denver before being placed on injured reserve in 1972.
