Earl Watson (born June 12, 1979, Kansas City, Kansas) is a guard who played college basketball at UCLA, where he was a four-year starter and earned all-conference honors as a senior in the Pac-10. Seattle selected him in the second round of the 2001 NBA Draft with the 39th overall pick. Watson went on to play 13 seasons in the NBA with seven franchises before transitioning to coaching in 2014, later serving as head coach of the Phoenix Suns from 2016 to 2017.
