Simmie Hill Jr. (November 14, 1946 – July 14, 2013) was an American professional basketball player who stood 6'7" and played forward. Born in Midland, Pennsylvania, Hill starred at Midland High School alongside Norm Van Lier, scoring 652 points in his senior year and leading the Midland Leopards to the Pennsylvania State Championship. He played college basketball at Wichita State University, Cameron Junior College, and West Texas State University, earning first-team All-American honors from The Sporting News as a senior. Hill spent four seasons in the American Basketball Association with the Los Angeles Stars, Miami Floridians, Dallas Chaparrals, San Diego Conquistadors, and San Antonio Spurs, averaging 9.7 points per game.
