Skip Kubelius
Dossier
Skip Kubelius played football at the University of Alabama in 1971 under head coach Bear Bryant. That season the Crimson Tide finished 11–1, claimed the Southeastern Conference championship, and made their first use of the wishbone offense, which became a Bryant-era staple. Alabama's only loss came to Nebraska in the Orange Bowl.
