Steve Bartkowski

Steve Bartkowski (born November 12, 1952) was a quarterback who played college football at the University of California, Berkeley. As a senior in 1974, he earned consensus All-American honors and led the nation in passing, throwing for 2,580 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was also an All-American baseball player at first base for the Bears. The Atlanta Falcons selected Bartkowski with the first overall pick of the 1975 NFL Draft. He spent the bulk of his professional career with Atlanta (1975–1985) before brief stints with the Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
