Steve Kraftcheck

Stephen Kraftcheck (March 3, 1929 – August 10, 1997) was a Canadian ice hockey defenceman born in Tinturn, Ontario. He played parts of four NHL seasons between 1950 and 1959 with the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, and Toronto Maple Leafs, appearing in 27 games with Boston in 1950–51 and 8 games with Toronto in 1958–59. The bulk of his career unfolded in the American Hockey League from 1948 to 1964, where he accumulated 73 goals and 417 assists over 13 seasons and earned perennial all-star recognition. He was inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame in 2008.
