Steve Mingori

Steven Bernard Mingori (February 29, 1944 – July 10, 2008) was a left-handed relief pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1970 through 1979. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he attended Rockhurst High School and played college baseball at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and Pittsburg State University. After signing with the Cincinnati Reds in 1965 and spending five years in their minor league system, he debuted with the Cleveland Indians on August 5, 1970, posting a 2.66 ERA in 21 games. He was later traded to his hometown Kansas City Royals in June 1973, where he finished his career in 1979.
