Steve Myhra (April 2, 1934 – August 4, 1994) was a professional football player who spent five seasons with the Baltimore Colts of the NFL, playing kicker, guard, and linebacker. Born in Wahpeton, North Dakota, he played college football at Minnesota before transferring to North Dakota, where he earned Associated Press Little All-America first-team honors in 1955 and 1956 and was voted Most Valuable Player of the North Central Conference in 1956. Myhra is best remembered for a field goal with seven seconds remaining in the 1958 NFL Championship Game that forced the first sudden-death overtime in NFL history.
