Talvin Skinner

Talvin "Tab" Skinner (born September 10, 1952) is an American former professional basketball player who played college ball for the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks. At UMES, he led all players in rebounding at the 1972–73 NAIA Championships and was named Most Outstanding Player of the 1973–74 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference tournament. That same season, he helped the Fighting Hawks become the first HBCU program to receive an NIT invitation. Seattle selected Skinner in the third round of the 1974 NBA Draft, and he played two seasons with the SuperSonics, including the franchise's first two postseason appearances.
