Ted Sizemore
Dossier
Ted Crawford Sizemore (born April 15, 1945, in Gadsden, Alabama) played second base in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1980, suiting up for the Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and Boston Red Sox. He earned the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 1969, but recurring injuries curtailed what had been a promising career. Before turning professional, Sizemore starred at the University of Michigan, earning All-Big Ten honors in 1965 and 1966 and batting .321 in his final season. After retiring, he worked for Rawlings Sporting Goods.
