Ted Taylor

Taylor Hall is a Canadian left winger born November 14, 1991, selected first overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Before turning professional, he won back-to-back Memorial Cup championships with the OHL's Windsor Spitfires in 2009 and 2010, earning the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy as tournament MVP in both years. He spent six seasons with Edmonton before joining the New Jersey Devils, where he won the Hart Memorial Trophy — the first player in franchise history to receive the award. He has earned five NHL All-Star Game selections and won the Stanley Cup with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2026.
