Terry Owens

Terry Woodrow Owens (July 5, 1944 – October 27, 2012) was an offensive lineman who played in the AFL and NFL. A graduate of Samson High School and Jacksonville State University, Owens was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the 11th round (99th overall) of the 1966 AFL draft. He spent ten seasons with the Chargers. Owens died on October 27, 2012, from complications of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
