Toby Harrah

Colbert Dale "Toby" Harrah (born October 26, 1948, in LaRue, Ohio) was a professional baseball shortstop and third baseman who played in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1986. Originally signed by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1966, he was drafted by the Washington Senators in 1967 and reached the majors in 1971, the franchise's final season before relocating to become the Texas Rangers. Harrah spent the majority of his career with the Rangers and also played for the Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees. He managed the Rangers briefly in 1992 and later served as assistant hitting coach for the Detroit Tigers.
