Tom Gorence

Thomas John Gorence, born March 11, 1957, was an American right winger who played six seasons in the NHL between 1978 and 1983. A University of Minnesota alumnus, he was drafted 35th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1977 NHL Entry Draft and appeared in the 1980 Stanley Cup Finals with Philadelphia. He later played for the Edmonton Oilers. Gorence also represented the United States internationally, competing at the 1981 Canada Cup and the 1982 Ice Hockey World Championship.
