Thomas Alan Grieve (born March 4, 1948) was a right fielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1970 to 1979 with the Washington Senators/Texas Rangers, New York Mets, and St. Louis Cardinals. A first-round pick (6th overall) of the Senators in the 1966 draft out of Pittsfield High School, he was part of the Texas Rangers' 1972 inaugural season, earning the nickname "Mr. Ranger." His best season came in 1976, when he batted .255 with 20 home runs and 81 RBI. In December 1977 he was dealt to the Mets in the first four-team, eleven-player trade in MLB history. He was inducted into the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame in 2010.
