Thomas John Rowe (born May 23, 1956) is an American forward who was selected by the Washington Capitals in the 1976 NHL Entry Draft. He also played for the Hartford Whalers and Detroit Red Wings, and represented the United States at the 1977 Ice Hockey World Championships. In the 1978–79 season, Rowe became the first American-born player to score 30 or more goals in an NHL season, netting 31 goals in 69 games with Washington. After his playing career, he won a Stanley Cup championship with the Carolina Hurricanes in 2006 as part of the organization's staff.
