Dossier
Tommy Dunderdale (May 6, 1887 – December 15, 1960) was an Australian-Canadian professional ice hockey player who competed in the early decades of the organized game. Born in the Colony of Victoria, Australia, he moved to England in 1894 and to Canada in 1904. A centre forward, he began organized play with the amateur Winnipeg Ramblers in 1905–06 before turning professional in 1906–07 with the Winnipeg Strathconas. He later played for the Montreal Shamrocks and Quebec Bulldogs of the National Hockey Association. In 1911–12 he joined the Victoria Aristocrats of the new Pacific Coast Hockey Association, where he spent nine seasons. He retired as the PCHA's all-time leading goal scorer with 194 goals, was a six-time First Team All-Star, led the league in goals three times and in points twice. He remains the only Australian-born player inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, an honor he received in 1974.
