Tony Banfield (born December 18, 1938) was a defensive back in the American Football League who played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He spent the bulk of his professional career with the Houston Oilers (1960–63, 1965), appearing in the first three AFL Championship Games and winning back-to-back titles in 1960 and 1961. Banfield was named All-AFL in both 1961 and 1962 and earned Eastern Division All-Star honors in 1963. In 1962, he returned a blocked punt 58 yards for a touchdown in a 32–17 Oilers victory over the Oakland Raiders.
