Andrés Antonio "Tony" González (1936–2021) was a Cuban-born outfielder who spent most of his twelve-season MLB career with the Philadelphia Phillies (1960–1968), also playing for the Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, and California Angels. A center fielder known for excellent range, González batted .286 lifetime with 103 home runs and 615 RBI. He hit a career-high 20 home runs in 1962 and led the National League in doubles and triples in 1963. His .339 batting average in 1967 finished second in the NL batting race behind Roberto Clemente.
