Tony Sardisco

Tony Sardisco (December 5, 1932 – May 28, 2006) was an American football guard and linebacker. He played collegiately at Tulane, earning two All-Southeastern Conference selections and first-team All-American honors from the Football Writers Association of America in 1955. As team captain his senior season, he led the Green Wave to a 5–4–1 record and was named outstanding lineman in the Blue-Gray Game after recording 14 unassisted tackles. Sardisco was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 1956 NFL Draft and also played for the Washington Redskins that same season.
