Victor Hadfield

Victor Edward Hadfield (born October 4, 1940) was a Canadian professional ice hockey left wing who played sixteen seasons in the National Hockey League. After playing minor hockey in Oakville, he joined the Dixie Bee Hives before the Chicago Black Hawks assigned him to the St. Catharines Teepees of the Ontario Hockey League. A physical presence known for penalty minutes, he contributed a point-per-game pace in 1959–60 alongside future NHL players Chico Maki, Roger Crozier, and Pat Stapleton as the Teepees claimed the Memorial Cup. Claimed by the New York Rangers in the intra-league draft, Hadfield spent thirteen seasons in New York before finishing his career with three seasons in Pittsburgh.
