Virgil Livers

Virgil Chester Livers Jr. (born March 26, 1952) played cornerback in the National Football League after the Chicago Bears selected him in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers before beginning his professional career in Chicago. Livers later joined the Chicago Blitz of the United States Football League as a defensive back from 1983 to 1984. In 2017 he was inducted into the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame. After football he served as assistant principal at Bowling Green High School from 1998 to 2017 and was the first head football coach at Greenwood High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
