Vito "Babe" Parilli (May 7, 1930 – July 15, 2017) was a professional football quarterback who played 18 seasons across the NFL, AFL, and CFL. A two-time consensus All-American at Kentucky, he won two consecutive bowl games with the Wildcats. His most sustained professional success came as the starting quarterback for the Boston Patriots from 1961 to 1967, where he earned three AFL All-Star Game selections and led the team to its only AFL championship game appearance in 1963. He closed his playing career with the New York Jets, winning a Super Bowl title in Super Bowl III. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1982.
