Walter Frederick Walker (born July 18, 1954) played in the NBA after a standout college career at Virginia, where he led the Cavaliers to their first Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament championship and first NCAA tournament berth in 1976. He received the Everett Case Award as ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player that year. Selected fifth overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 1976 NBA draft, Walker contributed to the franchise's Western Conference Championship runs in 1978 and 1979 as a frontcourt player. He later returned to Seattle as President and General Manager, helping the SuperSonics reach the 1996 Western Conference Finals.
