Walt Cudzik

Walter Jacob Cudzik (February 21, 1932 – December 11, 2005) was an American football center who played college football at Purdue University. Drafted by the Washington Redskins in the eighteenth round of the 1954 NFL Draft, he played in Washington through 1959. He moved to the American Football League with the Boston Patriots during their inaugural 1960 season, remaining there through 1963. In 1964, Cudzik joined the Buffalo Bills as starting center, where he was part of a team that led the AFL with 400 points scored and won the AFL championship under head coach Lou Saban.
