Ronald Wayne Garrett (born December 3, 1947, Brooksville, Florida) was a professional baseball infielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1969 to 1980. Originally signed as a shortstop by the Milwaukee Braves organization in the sixth round of the 1965 draft, he was selected by the New York Mets in the 1968 Rule 5 draft. Garrett spent the core of his career with the Mets, serving as their third baseman and was a member of the 1969 World Series championship club. He later played for the Montreal Expos and St. Louis Cardinals before finishing his professional career with the Chunichi Dragons in Nippon Professional Baseball.
