Wayne Mulligan

Wayne Eugene Mulligan (born May 5, 1947) was a center in the National Football League from 1969 to 1975. He played college football at Clemson University, where he was the starting center from 1966 to 1968 and helped the Tigers win consecutive ACC championships in 1966 and 1967. Selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the eighth round of the 1969 NFL/AFL Draft, Mulligan spent five seasons as Jim Hart's center before being traded to the New York Jets in 1974, where he served as Joe Namath's center for two seasons. He appeared in 87 games across his seven-year NFL career.
