Maurice Wesley Parker III (born November 13, 1939) was a first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1964 to 1972, with one additional season in Japan for the Nankai Hawks in 1974. He was part of the Dodgers' 1965 and 1966 World Series teams. Parker won the National League Gold Glove Award at first base six consecutive years, from 1967 through 1972, and in 2007 was voted the best defensive first baseman since the award's inception in 1957. In 1970 he batted .319, drove in over 100 runs with no more than 10 home runs, and hit for the cycle against the New York Mets on May 7.
