Willie Richardson

Willie Louis Richardson (November 17, 1939 – February 8, 2016) was a wide receiver in the National Football League who played nine seasons with the Baltimore Colts (1963–1969, 1971) and the Miami Dolphins (1970). A product of Jackson State College, Richardson earned first-team All-American honors in 1962 and led the NAIA in pass receiving in 1960. At the professional level he was named first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press for the 1967 season and appeared in two Pro Bowls. He was inducted into the Jackson State Hall of Fame (1978), the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame (1979), and the College Football Hall of Fame (2003).
