Alexander Levinsky (February 2, 1910 – September 1, 1990) was an American-born Canadian defenceman who played nine NHL seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Black Hawks, and New York Rangers. Born in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Toronto, he played collegiate hockey for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues before turning professional. Over 367 regular-season games he posted 19 goals and 49 assists for 68 career points, adding 2 goals and 1 assist across 37 playoff appearances. Known by the nickname "Mine Boy," Levinsky later earned a law degree from the University of Toronto and went on to work as a lawyer, car dealership owner, and bowling alley owner.
