Arnitz L. Johnson (May 16, 1920 – June 6, 2000) was a professional basketball player from Gonvick, Minnesota. He played college basketball at Bemidji State (then Bemidji Teachers), where he led the team to three consecutive Northern Teachers College Conference championships and NAIA tournament berths. During World War II he served at Buckley Air Force Base. Spotted at an AAU tournament in Denver by Chuck Taylor, Johnson was referred to Rochester Royals coach and owner Les Harrison and earned a spot on the roster. He played for the Royals across both the NBL and NBA from 1946 to 1953, and remains the only Bemidji State player to reach the NBA.
