Arthur Mahaffey Jr. (born June 4, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio) was a right-handed starting pitcher who spent his Major League Baseball career in the National League with the Philadelphia Phillies (1960–1965) and St. Louis Cardinals (1966). He developed in Cincinnati's American Legion circuit under coach Joe Hawk at the Bentley Post, alongside future big leaguers Don Zimmer, Dick Drott, and Jim Brosnan. Over seven MLB seasons, Mahaffey posted a 59–64 record with a 4.17 ERA, 639 strikeouts, and 999.0 innings pitched across his career.
